Career changes and choices
I would never be so presumptuous as to assume that someone is happy in his or her life. But, I gotta say that staring at this guy about 8 feet away from me, it makes me think he’s the luckiest guy in the world. He’s chatting with a couple, they’re half in the bag, but not obnoxious. I’m sitting at the other side of the bar, trying to erase this crappy day from my mind. It isn’t that bad days don’t happen to everyone, but more that my choice to work in a tired cramped office has proven to be stifling and crushing. I would much rather deal with people when they’re relaxed and looking for a good time. May the grass is just greener, but I really think i should learn
how to become a bartender. Happy Hour vs. Rush Hour? Is there really an argument to be made here? Sure, bartending is a job. A job with cash in your hand and no board meetings. The more I sit here and watch this guy, the more I think he figured it all out. I’ll keep his secret, but pursue my own destiny.

Are Fast College Degrees Good?
Let’s answer this question with another question. Is a slow more traditional college degree somehow superior to a fast college degree due to the fact that it takes the usual 4 to 5 years to complete rather than the usual time for a fast or accelerated college degree online which is usually 1 to 2 years or less? How about cost, is that better with the slower university degree programs? No, of course not! In fact, tuition for the slower degree completion program is usually at least 5 to 10 times more costly than the fast degree program. How about the didactic lecture/test educational methodology in the slower degree completion time programs? It is widely known that the lecture / test methodology used in the slower degree completion program is not only the least efficient but the least effective learning there is. Professional educators estimate that up to half of the degree coursework is not relevant to the chosen degree jubject area so that doesn’t offer more value. There simply is no educational approach that is superior, at the university level, than hands on experiential learning, focused on the chosen subject area, in a Socratic environment which fosters the development of critical thinking in students. Fast college degrees are rapidly becoming the choice of today’s sophisticated students because they provide a superior education. fast college degree
