Finances are tight these days! I really need to find a means to tighten my belt a little. It didn’t occur to me to look at my printing costs until I took out my garbage from the office last night. While I was emptying out the can, I observed 2 toner cartridges in there along with a whole bundle of paper. I know I didn’t use that much stuff so I questioned my wife about it. Turns out the wife was doing a bit of property cleaning and threw out the spent cartridges not realizing they could be recycled. The kids were doing school projects and used tons of printer paper. I got to imagining that if we could pay a little more attention to what we were doing, we could possibly shave quite a number of bucks off of our office items. copier toner

But of course the most conventional and traditional way of recycling is to use your home recycling bin. Your municipality or local council will normally provide these bins, and magazines are a perfect item for these bins. Recycling your magazines this way of course takes very little time and is extremely easy.

Teen driving is riskier
A recent study released by The Auto Club states that auto accidents caused by teen drivers cost us dearly. It adds up to more than $34 billion annually, nationwide. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for American teenagers. Here’s a shocking statistic. Young people ages 15 to 20 make up 6.7 percent of the total driving population in this country but are involved in 14 percent of all fatal crashes. -Orange County lawyer
Most accidents involving teens are the result of speed, alcohol or drug use, or because of inexperience. It’s important to make sure your teen gets experience driving, but they need to realize that it’s a serious privilege, not a right. Driving needs to be taken seriously because the injuries can be great.

So often when you see a person that is not living at their optimum level, you think that this person needs to get their act together. The truth is that so often their act was together but was knocked off track by parents who really had no idea what they were doing.
Take this case in point. If it is a lovely Saturday afternoon, and your kids want to watch the latest film on television or they want to play video games, do you encourage them to go outside and play or do you allow them to sit in front of the television all day?

Nursing home abuse is becoming a problem
Nursing home abuse is increasingly becoming a problem in the United States. Incidents of abuse at nursing homes not only have to do with neglect, but are also of a physical, sexual and emotional nature. A recent Fox News report details the abuse suffered by 15 nursing home residents who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia disorders. According to the report, the nursing assistants allegedly spit in residents’ mouths, poked their breasts and touched their genitals. The residents were also subject to taunting and teasing. Three of the residents died during the course of this abuse. Authorities found it difficult to interview the other victims because of their cognitive impairment. The nursing home won’t be penalized because officials followed procedures and notified appropriate authorities.
Los Angeles nursing home abuse is really an issue that we need to pay attention to.
