Why doesn’t the public care that the states are destroying families in order to collect FED Title IV funding?
Through Social Security Title IV funding states are rewarded for removing children from families for "alleged abuse and neglect. We all agree children need to be protected from this but children are needlessly being removed because of the incentives paid to states by the Federal Government not because of any abuse. If the children can be deemed "special needs" they get lots more money. The cost to taxpayers for this elephant in the living room is over $500,000,000,000 a year.
If your teenager makes a false complaint to Child Protective Services because he/she is mad at mom and dad you are about to jump on a financially devestating and emotional roller coaster you will never ever forget. The other children in your home will be removed and the statistics show they are 10 times more likely to be abused by molestation, neglect and other physical abuse in foster care than if left in the care of biological parents with services offered to the family.
It doesn’t quite work that way. A teenager can complain to CPS and they won’t instantly take away your other children. They’ll open an investigation. Many times, true abuse cases aren’t even prosecuted because case workers don’t investigate thoroughly enough. Bottom line, if parents get their kids taken away after a CPS investigation, it was certainly deserved.

Many times, true abuse cases aren’t even prosecuted because case workers don’t investigate thoroughly enough. Bottom line, if parents get their kids taken away after a CPS investigation, it was certainly deserved.

Unless this happens to them, people don’t care. It is the greed mentality started and maintained by the government that has caused most of the problems in this country today. More is better. Why do I need to know math. I want. I want. I want. When the government shows people by example that greed is good (but only for them) the people follow suit. If they are not affected by what is happening around them, why should they care. When it does happen to them they bemoan the fact that they provided a healthy, balanced lifestyle for their children, why are they being taken away. Then they spend money like water trying to understand why this is happening, even when they had the chance to prevent it from happening. Because they didn’t care. In my opinion.

CPS is dangerous and should be abolished. Yes, endangered children should be protected, but, when a neighbor or someone calls in false allegations, the report should be thoroughly investigated before the children are removed from the home. Once removed, it is hard to get them back. and even when you PROVE your innocence, the CPS still watches you too closely. And the bad news is, you can’t stop them, because they are vehemently trying to destroy you and your family.
I think all CPS workers should be assassinated.

This brought back memories from a couple of years ago when St. Francis did this crap to our family. You hit it dead on. They do it for that extra bonus- yay a vacation!
The two kids my family "adopted" were in a great home and doing good until st.francis came in and took them away for no reason. now we’re not allowed to see them, speak to them, or know where they are. it happened so suddenly i’m sure the kids are traumatized. I hope and pray that they went to one of the few good homes out there. We’ve written letters, hired lawyers, tried everything b/c we love and miss them so much but they won’t give that $$$$ up for nothin. i have no faith or trust in our system. shame on them.

You know, I’ve been trying to get people to understand this concept since 1999. It seems no one cares, or they hold fast to some indoctrination-induced garbage about parents who have their kids taken away probably deserved it. I grew up in foster care, 15 yrs I spent in 17 different homes from the age of 3. Since I have gotten out of the system, I was able to view some documents from about the time I was 6 and then around 8. All the sets of documents I was able to see said my mother was "fully complying" with all requests of CPS. When I asked my mother why I was never returned (nor were my sister or 2 brothers), she said that everytime she got close to getting us back, they would come up with a new reason for keeping us in foster care (didn’t like her job, didn’t like her hours, didn’t like her sitter or apartment setup, etc). I asked her why she signed over her rights to us, and she said that the person in charge of CPS (I have her NAME) told her either sign off her rights, or they’d put her in jail and take her rights away anyhow. My mom was young and dumb, and she signed. Talk about duress!!
In the last year, CPS came on a factless report (from my ex-husband). I told them that I know their deal, and I also know that I don’t have to let them in without a warrant because they are acting as agents of the government. I had my kids stand by the screen door and wave to the workers. They never came back, and that was several months ago.
People need to learn how to assert their rights. And BTW a "special needs" child in foster care terms can simply be a child who is over the age of 8. Seriously, look it up.

That’s not quite fair…
I work for the national group "Parents of murdered children" and we seldom see children removed from a home. at least in my state… If we say one parents is abusive then the partner and their children can be removed and sent to a safe house but they wouldnt remove the children unless both parents are "at risk" (drug addicts or something else like that)… even then the state will try to place the children with other family members first!
Now remember I can only speak for my state and the Federal system is overripe with abuse if your seeing an abuse of Title IV where you are I suggest you contact the attorney general there and demand an investigation! if that still doesn’t work then call the Federal waste and abuse hot line… those people are very serious about looking into how programs use fed money!

The destruction of the family began at the Federal level. Because the explanation is so complex, please let me briefly state that;
1) The fiat currency (money) printed out of thin air makes it quite easy for the Fed’s to throw funding at whatever socialist schemes it wants to move along.
Examples: Public schools, Energy, Farming, Insurance.
The states are merely caving in to the short-term benefit of ‘money’ in their coffers and this disgusting trend is apparent in ALL facets of state governance; from road building to public education.
Essentially, the scheme is to nationalize the country- eliminate states and sovereign peoples altogether.
The feds aren’t satisfied with that destruction either, they want Canada and Mexico too!
Times are very, very bad. The urgency in restoring limited government is a matter of survival for our blessed country.

The public is a product of our education system. A system that is turning out uninformed mindless sheep by the droves.

My fiance has tried to protect his children since 2001 who are being abused in Missouri in his ex’s home. Over 3,000 pages of abuse and neglect reports in her home.
Founded by police / DSS are: Sexual abuse, sexual maltreatment, educational neglect, neglect, unsafe / unsanitary living conditions. Over and over.
The sexual abuse was in 2003, the perp was the son of the head of the DSS office and even although founded, was protected. Police reports show he has done this to other children as well. Again, nothing happened to him and he is still free to do this to others.
DSS refused to honor a court order on custody which my fiance had custody, instead they kept giving them to their mother and keeping them in her home…they were removed from her in March 04 for 3 days because home was so bad it was a fire hazard..due to filthy conditions.
They then wanted the court to remove them from her permanently. She fled county and new county would not go after her. Again, DSS left the children in the abuse and they were then sexually maltreated by their step father who is still in the home to this day. It was founded, upheld by the child abuse and neglect registry even.
Yet, in that same DSS office, they go after a man who has an academy for children who are abused and neglected and they throw a fit because a child stepped in a pile of cow manure and DSS says that is abuse!! Gee, I live on a farm and well…that happens.
Yet my fiance’s children can sleep on filthy mattresses in dog feces and urine on the floor and CPS …same office says that is ok????? What did I miss there????
All for that federal money they rake in.
